ARCHITECTURE FARM 竺坊建筑设计 is a Wholly Owned Foreign Enterprise (WOFE) registered in Shanghai. The firm’s work has been guided by our core value: Integration of Architecture and Interior; Dialogue with Culture and History in Contemporary Design.

We strike to bring international design thoughts and quality standards to the rapidly growing China market. Maintaining a relatively small but diverse design team assures close attention to every design project. Most importantly, we believe in horizontal team structure that promotes indispensible collaborative spirit. The name Architecture Farm represents our resistance to the restraining hierarchical structure commonly found in our industry.

Regardless of project scale and style, we treasure each design opportunity. Firmly believed in sound design principles in search of inspiration and creativity, our designers pay close attention to context, function, aesthetic, as well as quality of materials and execution of details. Whatever the design problem is, the challenge that inspires us is to create sensitive and responsible solutions, respecting context and most importantly, responding to our client’s needs.

Started as a Design + Build practice, ARCHITECTURE FARM has built a strong foundation in the practicalities of construction. Since the firm’s inception, we have accumulated a wide range of project experiences. In addition to our contracting team and furniture factory, we have been collaborating with numerous contractors, manufacturers and construction professionals to provide our clients with design excellence and quality execution; our clients’ interest always comes in first place throughout the build process.
